1. Why it matters even without money

On Brooksmissy you cannot stake money, there is nothing to buy and nothing to win that has any value. Pebbles are only a score. That removes the financial risk, but not every risk. Spinning reels, near-instant results and rising levels can make it easy to lose track of time, and for some people a game like this can stir up the urge to gamble for real.

It is also worth saying plainly: how you do here says nothing about how you would do with real money. Playing or success in social casino gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling. Our games are made to entertain, and real gambling is a very different thing.

2. Tools in your account

Every Brooksmissy account has two player care tools, which you can change at any time in your player care settings:

Time reminder. A gentle check-in that tells you how long you have been playing, every 30, 60 or 90 minutes, or not at all. It starts at every 60 minutes for new accounts. From the reminder you can keep playing or go straight to your player care settings.
Take a break. Pauses all games on your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. While a break is running, every game shows a pause screen instead of the board. The rest of the site, including this page, keeps working.

3. Tips for keeping it fun

Decide how long you want to play before you start, and set the time reminder to match.
Play when you are in a good mood, not to escape stress, boredom or low feelings.
Take regular breaks: stand up, have a drink of water, look away from the screen.
Remember that every round is random. A streak of good or bad results does not change what happens next.

4. Warning signs
