How results are made

Every spin, card, roll and scratch on Brooksmissy is decided by chance, in your own browser, at the moment you play. Nobody tunes results for you, against you or for anyone else.

Last updated 16 October 2026

1. Where results come from

All our games run in your browser. When you press Spin, Deal, Roll or Drop, the game asks your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator for fresh random numbers. Browsers provide this generator for security work such as creating encryption keys, so its numbers are unpredictable and evenly spread.

Those numbers decide the result straight away: which symbols land, which card comes next, where a ball falls. Our server takes no part in it. It never sees your rounds and has no way to change them.

2. Every round stands alone

Each round is drawn fresh, with no memory of what came before. A long run without a feature does not make one "due", and a good round does not make the next one less likely. Results do not depend on your account, your level, your Club tier, your balance, how long you have played or how you did earlier.

3. The same for everyone

Guests in demo mode and players with an account play exactly the same games, with the same rules and the same chances. There are no special settings for new players, for returning players or for higher tiers, and nothing you can unlock changes the odds. The only difference an account makes is that your Pebbles, level and rewards are saved.

4. Rules and pays for every game

Every game has its own rules page that sets out how it plays, how its features start and everything it pays. You can open it from the "Rules & pays" button on the game, and read it before you play a single round.

For an example, see the rules and pays for Otterly Treasure.

5. What you see is what was drawn

Each result is fixed as soon as its random numbers are drawn, and the animation that follows only shows it. We never swap symbols, cards or numbers afterwards, and we never dress up a losing round to look like a narrow miss.

On the slots, every reel stops on the same schedule whatever has already landed: there is no extra pause or slow-down to build suspense when a feature looks close. The result is decided before the reels start moving, and you can stop them early at any time.

6. Why we show no return figures

Real-money games often publish a percentage that describes how much they give back over a very long time. We do not, on purpose. Nothing on Brooksmissy is played for money, so a figure like that would only suggest a comparison with gambling that does not apply here. What matters for fun is how a game plays, so each game tells you whether it is calm, lively or wild: calm games return smaller amounts more often, and wild games go quiet for longer between bigger moments.

Whatever happens in a round, Pebbles stay a score with no cash value. Playing or success in social casino gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling.

7. Questions

If a game behaves in a way that does not match its rules, please tell us what happened, which game it was and roughly when, through the contact form or at hello@brooksmissy.co.uk. We look into every report.
